Orange lava flow
The current series that I am showcasing from 2025 has been very enjoyable for me to create. I have pushed myself to experiment (albeit in a controlled manner), with colours that I would previously shy away from. Further to this, I have made efforts to keep the colours separated on the canvas, so as to not allow the colours to bleed into each other as much as I have with past works. The technique employed to achieve this has been to build up a storage house of patience and layer different colours after previous layers have had time to try. Oh the restraint!
Still, It has been an enjoyable experience to restrain myself in this way.
How do you find restraint in your daily life when you are creating?

Cotton Candy Sky
I love to experiment with contrasting colours, especially when creating landscape scenes that are truly out of this world. Here we see a cotton candy sky emerging from behind a dark mountain range. I added silver for reflection and to give depth/form to the pink colours. The dark mountain range and the pink silver cloud are well contrasted against the happy blue background.
This image evokes a feeling a impending doom. What do you see?

Monumental Heads 2025 Acrylic
I really like this particular work. I was experimenting with figures and found that they could easily contribute to an aesthetic scene. The theme continues in further pieces in this summer 2025 series. I love to create visual scenes, and I am so glad that you have visited my little corner of the internet to see them. Can’t wait to keep going.

I created a series during the summer of 2025 that explores landscape scenes.
I have continued to use acrylic pouring techniques to achieve a blending of colours. I have also used layering techniques to ensure clear separations where needed. This upcoming series will feature many abstract landscapes in my signature style. I hope you will enjoy it.

Lillybochic Cartoon Series Comp.
So I was up to a lot of projects last year, and I decided to try my hand at a series of short animations.
The writing, illustration, and animations are all by me. The audio is mostly royalty free stuff from the video app I use, called VLLO. I like to view creativity as a well spring that never runs out, as long as I have the energy to dunk my bucket in.

It mostly features my hypnotic and ultra calming evolving pattern videos. I am enthralled with this type of content right now. Perhaps I should simply adopt the moniker of “futurist”, because I always seem to like things 2-3 years before anyone else does. Although I believe a futurist tends to make predictions decades or a full century ahead of time, I still think I could consider myself a mini-futurist. Or at least a “Coming Soon- predictor of trends” person. I think that title needs a little extra work.

Happy Blue with Gold 2025
How do you find the motivation to do the things you once enjoyed? Especially when they do not seem to bring you anything other than an intrinsic satisfaction of completing something. It feels like spinning wheels in sand. Perhaps one may reach the other side, but how long will it take?
