Ocean Abstract Acrylic with Gold

My latest piece is entitled “Violent Weather”. Size 11″ x 12″ // 28 cm x 30.5 cm This abstract ocean landscape shows a violent storm wherein waves crash against each other amidst a dark and treacherous sky. Swirling patterns of dark storms lurk in the background, and as a result, the waves are exceptionally high. At the peak of the tallest wave, water pierces through the barrier that separates the scene from calmer sunlit tranquility. Jaune Tide: Acrylic on canvasĀ 

Spring is nearly here: however in Southern Ontario, that does not always mean it will be warm outside or without snow. The weather has been trite with gloomy over cast and threats of blizzards this week; so I decided to create a piece that would be an antithesis to current moods.
