Gold acrylic triangle with black

My latest 10 x 10 inch// 25 x 25 cm acrylic on canvas continues my study of singular-focused images against black negative space. This piece features a heavily textured triangle shape that is entirely golden. Gold light I took photos of in the light, and so the shine of the black acrylic paint allows the viewer to also see raised texture floating in the blackness. Soft Blue Sky and a Golden Sun

My latest painting is another example of my study of the sun. It features light whisps of glossy clouds as the backdrop of a pulsing golden sun.   I used texturing compounds to add variety to the surface of this painting. Heaven’s Gate- Acrylic on Canvas Art

  I wanted to feature this piece specifically because it incorporates lots of gold. I like it so much that IĀ gave it a name;(something I have not made a habit of thus far). It is entitled “Heaven’s gate” as this was the first term that came to my mind when it was completed. I used gold leaf, green and blue acrylic on this 12 x 6 inch canvas. Statement Art and Home Decor

  I created these as complimentary pieces using gold leaf. Each measures to be about 36 x 24 inches- quite large for acrylic on canvas. My goal was to create a glimpse into an underwater wold with dark colours blended into light yellows and gold.
